17 – TIZ THE LAW – Even with post 17, it’s virtually impossible to pick against him.  Maybe try a few tickets with him second, but everything points toward him.  If he doesn’t win, it will be bombs away on the tote board.

2 – MAX PLAYER – The barn change is the key.  He has one huge burst of speed but it appears that the owners must believe he should be able to sustain that speed longer and is better than what he has shown so far, or else they wouldn’t have made the change.

18 – AUTHENTIC – Won his East Coast debut at Monmouth at 3-5, a good bounceback after losing as the favorite in the SA Derby.  His speed numbers are getting better with each start.

3 – ENFORCEABLE – He may not be the caliber of some of the others in here, but I also don’t think he’s had a fair shot yet, with 4 straight bad posts and never closer than 10th off the break.  He can be a factor from the inside post in the Derby.

13 – ATTACHMENT RATE – He stepped up last time, has closing speed, and could be a contender with the right trip.  Every Derby seems to have one longshot that comes from the clouds…this could be the one today.
