Hopeful Thoroughbreds compete in designated prep races to earn qualifying points to help them get in the gate at Churchill Downs on the First Saturday in May.
With Hollywood Races, you can earn points on the horses you bet in the Derby prep races and can win wagering bonuses for Kentucky Derby Day!
Here’s how it works:
Place a straight $10 win bet on one horse of your choice in any or all of the eligible North American Kentucky Derby Prep Races, listed below. You may bet in any number of prep races you wish, but only one horse and one qualifying bet per race.
If the horse you bet to win finishes in the top four, you earn the same number of points as the horse you bet. For example, if your horse wins a 10-point prep race, you get 10 points. If your horse runs second in a 100-point race, you earn 40 points.
Follow the Hollywood Races Road to the Roses Leaderboard to find your running point totals.
The players with the top 20 point totals after the final prep race will receive FREE wagering bonuses to play on Derby Day!
That’s not all – we’ll give a $25 wagering credit to the leader at the end of each month!
